I was recently invited to the launch of Jewellery Baum& Lucky Cat(Manekineko Baum).

It has a very rich history. In 1909, "Juchheim" was emerged by Karl and Elise Juchheim in Qingdao, China. Fast forward to 1919, Karl Juchheim baked and sold Baumkuchen(Baumkuchen is a German variety of spit cake) at the Hiroshima Perfectual Commerial Exhibitions. This was the beginning of the Baumkuchen history in Japan. Since then, Baumkuchen has become one of the best and popular cakes in Japan. It still remains highly popular all over Japan and soon the rest of asia.

Juchheim Jewellery Baum is a new type of Baumkuchen which shines like a real piece jewellery and as colourful as diamond. I love love love their packaging! Sweet and simple. If you like something on the sweeter side, you have to give Juchheim Jewellery Baum a try.

BEst to consume them at room temperture or cold for that fresh flavour. Available is 5 flavours: Berries, orange, matcha, coffee and mango.

The Juchheim Jewellery Baum retails at $3 per piece. Perfect as gifts for loves one, friends, as afternoon tea, and snacks.

I'm a sucker for fruity desserts. If i were to choose, i would choose berries and mango. Tell me which is your favourite :)
Next, Lucky Cat (Manekineko) Baum is known for their lucky Cat which is a traditional figurine that is believed to bring fortune to people. Baumkuchen symbolise longevity and prosperity. Baked in 8-layers. Inspired by the number “8”, it is consider a lucky number in chinese. The Manekineko Baum retails at $23.80 each and comes with a little note printed on the box.

The Baumkuchen are freshly baked in their in-store kitchen everyday with special attention, which gives that soft texture with refined flavour. Think of fluffy sponge cakes. It is not too sweet and to my liking.

Oh my god, i can't wait to eat it!

They are just too pretty to eat!
